Last month, I took an online card class called Clean and Simple Card Making which was taught by Kristina Werner, Julie Ebersole, and Jennifer McGuire. My card is based on a sketch from the class that I fell in love with. I'm also working on embracing the white space and trying out a white on white card and I'm really happy with my results. My original plan was to only have two layers but a little oopsie on my part after coloring in all the flowers resulted in my cutting them out and popping them up on another layer.
On to the details. All supplies are from A Muse|Studio and can be purchased from my webstore. Be sure to email me if your order is more than $150 so that you can receive hostess benefits. I stamped the flowers from Floral Duet in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Sugar Cardstock and colored them in with a variety of yellow and orange Copic markers. Unfortunately, I cleaned off my desk before I wrote down which markers but in all honesty, just pick the colors you like that blend well together. The flowers are cut out and mounted with 3d adhesive onto a Sugar Piece that has a sentiment from Hand Scripted stamped onto it with Memento Tuxedo Black. This piece is also mounted onto a Sugar Card with 3d foam adhesive. I finished it off with some black twinkle sticker and there you have it. A clean and simple card that packs a lot of punch.
